Our story

Specialists who make the trip worthwhile

Darrin Straub started Advanced Stucco Repair in 1999 because too many stucco problems were being treated as cosmetic when they were really water problems. That idea still guides how we work: we look at the whole wall, find where water is getting in, and fix the cause before the finish.

We are a specialist trade contractor, not a general builder. Our work covers moisture surveys and water testing, sealant and expansion joints, flashing at roof-to-wall transitions, sheathing and substrate repair, EIFS and Dryvit restoration, new stucco and EIFS installation, and color and texture matching across full elevations. Today that work is focused on commercial and multifamily properties.

Peachtree City is on the south side of Metro Atlanta, a longer drive from our Canton base, and we are upfront about that. We plan site walks and work days in advance, and we keep you informed if anything changes. For Peachtree City property managers, boards and owners, that means a written scope they can rely on, a schedule that works around tenants, residents and cart traffic, and a contractor who understands stucco and EIFS in depth.

The ASR standard

What you can expect on every building

From a single leaking storefront to a full condominium recoat, the same six commitments apply.

Diagnose before we cut

Moisture readings at windows, joints and parapets, plus water testing where the leak path is unclear, so the scope matches the real damage.

Readings, not guesswork

Fix the water path

We correct the failed sealant, flashing or termination that let water in, so the same elevation does not need the same repair again.

Cause closed, not covered

Scopes boards can approve

Photos, readings and an itemized scope by elevation that separates urgent water intrusion from cosmetic work, with phasing options for budgets and reserves.

Written and itemized

Work around occupants

Phased elevations, open entrances and noisy work scheduled around tenants, residents and business hours.

Occupied-building planning

Build it in the right layers

Sheathing, weather barrier, flashing, lath, base and finish installed and lapped in order, with proper cure time between coats.

Correct from the studs out

Match the facade

Custom pigment and aggregate blends, sample areas for approval, and recoats corner to corner where a patch would show.

Color & texture matched
How we work

From site walk to finished facade

Every commercial project follows the same three steps, so managers, boards and owners know what is happening and why.

Site walk & survey

We walk the elevations with you, review leak reports and past repairs, and take moisture readings at the details that fail first.

  • Leak reports reviewed
  • Readings by elevation
  • Photo documentation

Written scope & quote

You receive an itemized scope by elevation, with repair and recoat options and a phasing plan that fits budgets, reserves and approvals.

  • Itemized by elevation
  • Urgent vs. cosmetic
  • Phasing options

Phased repair & finish

Crews work elevation by elevation, replace wet substrate, correct flashing and sealants, and finish with a matched color and texture.

  • Access & safety planned
  • Daily cleanup
  • Matched finish

★★★★★
“We had a section of our wall that was crumbling, and I was worried the repairs would stand out. Not only did they fix the issue, but they matched the color and texture so perfectly that I honestly can’t tell where the damage was.”
